El Paso International Airport (ELP) has ample short-term and long-term parking, as well as facilities for the disabled and free shuttle bus connections to the terminal building.
Parking fees can be paid for upon exit from the car park by either cash or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). However, debit cards are not accepted. The following list contains further information on airport car parking at El Paso International Airport and its 3,500 parking spaces.
Short Term Airport Car Parking
El Paso International Airport's short-term parking lot is located opposite the terminal building and has spaces for 1,219 vehicles. The first 10 minutes are free, so this parking area is perfect for dropping off and picking up passengers. Rates after the initial 10 minutes are for the first 35 minute period, and then charged per hour and per day thereafter.
Long Term Airport Car Parking
The long-term airport car park is located farther away from the terminal building than the short-term lot and is connected to the airport by a free and convenient airport shuttle. There is room for over 2,250 cars. As with the short-term parking lot, the first 10 minutes here are free. However, the first hour is just a minimal charge, with every hour charged thereafter, up to a daily maximum. There is also a standard weekly rate.
Holiday Airport Car Parking
Because of the increased numbers of travelers during holiday periods such as Thanksgiving and New Year, El Paso International Airport has extra parking facilities available in addition to the usual short-term and long-term parking lots. In the event the long-term parking lot is full, you will be given instructions on where to park your vehicle. Free transfers to the terminal building are also provided.
Disabled Airport Car Parking
El Paso International Airport has convenient parking areas for disabled drivers. Several disabled parking spaces are available next to the terminal building, while others are located next to the Airport Shuttle bus stops at both the short-term and long-term parking lots.
